Phosphatidylserine
How does it work?
Phosphatidylserine (PS) is one of the membrane phospholipids found abundantly in the brain and is required as a key building block for cellular membrane layers.1 PS is used in the central nervous system, particularly in brain health and function, and research has shown PS improves cognitive function of the elderly, Alzheimer’s disease and age-associated memory impairment.2 PS has also shown to assist in improving thinking skills in young people, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression, preventing exercise-induced stress, and improving athletic performance.3
What results can be expected?
Phosphatidylserine supplementation may assist in improving cognitive function, memory impairment, and those at risk of age-related memory decline.4 Other central nervous system conditions such as ADHD, depression and stress may also benefit from phosphatidyserine supplementation.5
