2-Amino-6-Boronhexanoic Acid (ABH)
How does it work?
ABH is an inhibitor of the enzyme, human arginase I and II which converts L-Arginine into urea. Through inhibition of arginase, there is an increase in arginine delivery to lean muscle tissue so that conversion to nitric oxide (NO) occurs. Nitric oxide is a vasodilator and smooth muscle cell relaxant (allowing the blood vessels to relax and dilate) therefore increases of NO through arginase inhibition will increase these physiological effects within the body.
What results can be expected?
ABH increases blood flow to lean muscle tissue thus providing increased oxygen and nutrients to muscles, enabling enhanced performance, recovery and growth. Due to vasodilation and arginase inhibition, studies have also shown that ABH may assist in erectile dysfunction.
